Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the appointment of the new Foreign Minister of Uruguay.
In his message, Amirabdollahian emphasized the importance of utilizing opportunities and numerous capacities to strengthen relations and mutual benefits between the people of Iran and Uruguay.
He expressed hope for the beginning of a new chapter in the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, and for enhanced consultations.
